Bobbie Jo Foutch, a beloved matriarch whose warmth touched countless lives throughout the Tri-Cities area, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unforgettable spirit. Born on September 25, 1949, in Benham, Kentucky, to the late Jack and Nadine Patrick Parrott, Bobbie Jo lived each day with authenticity, compassion, and a smile that could brighten anyone's darkest moment.
Bobbie Jo was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Jackie, and Eddie Parrott, and her sister, Annette Sue Creech.
She is survived by her loving, devoted husband of fifty-one years and best friend, Leonard Foutch, with whom she shared countless adventures from scenic rides searching for bears to quiet moments of companionship that spoke of a love built to last. Her legacy continues through her sons, Aaron Robinson and Scottie Wayne Robinson; her daughter, Kimberly Ann (Michael) Gilliam; and her sisters, Johnnie Mae Edmonds and Sandy Kaye (Dennis) Stotts.
Bobbie Jo's greatest joy was her family. She cherished her grandchildren: Shawna Brianne (Jadan) Jacobs, Eryn Katlyn Shianne (Cody) McCreary, Olivia Marie Robinson, Emily Jolean Robinson, Aaron Jack Dylan Robinson, Andrew Banks, Bridget Makayla Lynn Robinson, Lacasta Nadine (Jimmy) Combs, Jessica Brianne (Devon) Baker, and Raiven Skyler Gilliam. Her heart overflowed with pride for her great-grandchildren: Kynslie Jacobs, Beckitt Jacobs, Charleigh McCreary, Levi McCreary, Miley McCreary, Xander Simic, Brooklynn Robinson, Braelynn Robinson, Madilynn Edwards, Laelynn Combs, Kaelyn Baker, Lyla Baker, and Ryder Farris. She also held dear her special friends, Amy Jones, Doris Browning, Andrea Browning, and Donna Whitaker.
Those who knew Bobbie Jo knew a woman who spoke her mind with love and lived her faith with conviction. She attended the Central Baptist Church, where she found strength and peace in God's word. Her kitchen was a place of magic, where holiday dinners became legendary, especially her homemade dressing that family members still talk about with longing. Whether it was a feast for twenty or one of her famous egg sandwiches, Bobbie Jo had a gift for nourishing both body and soul.
Her compassion knew no bounds. She could not bear the thought of a hungry child and shared whatever she had with those in need. Through her work at Benham Comprehensive Care Center and Ann's Crossroads Restaurant, she touched lives throughout the community, making friends effortlessly with her warm personality and genuine care for others.
Despite facing health challenges, Bobbie Jo never lost her radiance. She was loud, classy, and carried herself with a style that was uniquely hers. Full of life's wisdom and an irrepressible spirit, she had a gift for making each person feel seen, valued, and a little more hopeful. Her presence filled every room she entered, and her absence will leave a void felt deeply throughout this community.
Her Visitation will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at the Central Baptist Church.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church, Officiated by Rev. Roger Colinger.
Burial will follow in the Benham Cemetery in Benham, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Parrott, Johnny Browning, Daniel Baker, Devon Baker, Jimmy Combs, and David Blackburn.
